This pillow case is removable and washable!
Elisa’s post on her circle quilt (https://hoecakesandhemlines.wordpress.com/2012/04/03/circle-quilt-so-cute-so-easy/ ) inspired me to try a pillow case.
I started with some a 14×14 pillow form I purchased a Joann’s ( http://www.joann.com/soft-n-crafty-pillow-14×14-/xprd985854/ )
I had some fabric (purchased at Cabbage Rose http://www.cabbagerosequilting.com/ )that was screaming for me to do something with it. I’ve had someone in mind for this fabric, I just couldn’t quite find the right project to use it in. Finally it came to me!
I cut two 4″ circles and one 6″ circle using my handy-dandy Easy Circle Cut (purchased at Joann’s http://www.joann.com/search/_easy_circle_cut/ )
I put some heatnbond lite on the back (also purchased at Joann’s http://www.joann.com/search/_heatnbond_lite/ ).
Added some Warm & Natural cotton batting (Joann’s http://www.joann.com/search/_warm_and_natural_cotton_batting/ ).
Ironed those on to the main body of the pillow case.
Stitched around each circle
Added some binding I had left over from another project to the edges of the pillow case to make them stronger and I liked the colors and sewed the top and bottom seams closed.
This pillow case is removable and washable and ever so cute!
